The town is very well connected to Siliguri (45 km away), Kolkata and
all neighbouring towns and districts.
The main mode of public transport is the rickshaw. Amongst personal
transport, people use bicycles and other two-wheelers. Use of
four-wheelers is also catching up slowly.
