By Road:
Chail is approximately 86 km from Kalka. One has to take a detour from Kandaghat to reach Chail. The journey from Kalka to Kandaghat takes about 5 hours. From Kandaghat to Chail, it is one and half hour's journey.
By Rail:
You can reach Kalka from Shimla by Kalka-Shimla toy train. The train passes through thick forests, dark tunnels, bends and ravines.
By Air:
There is an option to fly to Shimla from Delhi.
